Beginning Wheel Throwing
This class is designed for beginning wheel throwers or those who have little experience. The beginners will learn the basics of centering, pulling, shaping and trimming. This will lead to basic forms such as cups, bowls and vases. The students will glaze all finished pieces that will be fired in the gas kiln. The Instructor will be working hands on with the student.
Intermediate Wheel Throwing
This class is for students that have some experience in wheel throwing and can consistently master the basics. The intermediate will move forward with larger pieces, forms with lids and handles, and dinnerware. The pieces will be decoratively glazed and be fired in the gas kiln. The students are encouraged to create pieces in their own direction.
